CRITICAL READING

There are two types of Critical Reading questions:  

SENTENCE COMPLETIONS

Each sentence completion question has one or two blanks, each representing something that has been omitted. Each of the five answer choices will contain a word or a set of words labeled A through E. Choose the word or set of words that best fits the meaning of the sentence as a whole.

READING PASSAGE QUESTIONS

These questions will only appear in head-to-head mode. There are no reading passage questions in solo mode. The reading passage questions that appear on the SAT Ladder will be very similar in form and difficulty level to those found on a real SAT. Answer all passage based questions on the basis of what is directly stated or implied in each passage. Do not answer questions based upon any knowledge you might have of the subject.
